Date Initially Reported –on May 20, 2005

Reported first by a homeowners’ association located in Arcadia West sector 3 and later by a representative of another nearby homeowners’ association.

Plan of Action  – 

Understanding that:

1. the graffiti hotline was contacted by phone,
2. a resident verbally informed the business located at 3714 that their rear wall contained graffiti,
3. the business owner initially painted over the graffiti with some white paint, but the graffiti still showed through,
4. the site was revisited twice with more graffiti being added each time

Arcadia West Neighborhood Association suggests that the white wall graffiti site be monitored as closely as possible by nearby residents and that the 262-6151 crime stop number be notified immediately if suspicious activity is discovered.

The graffiti cleanup by the city should be requested and followed up if not completed with a week.  Residents should cooperate with the Phoenix Police in any way possible to assist in the immediate removal of the graffiti and the apprehension of the graffiti taggers.
